Exhibitions

A little bit of 'magic'! This is what an exhibition or event generates, over a short period of time, and after 15 years in the industry, continue to get enjoyment from working closely with clients, suppliers and the show-organiser, creating just that.

There is a big BUT. Creating magic is all very well BUT holding exhibitions and events has a huge impact on our environment. The responsibility of reducing this negative impact not only sits with the show organisers but also with the supply chain and exhibitors. This is where we step in. This includes WBLE.

Events

In recent years WBLE has welcomed work from festivals and summer events organisers who have looked to us for expert advice on how to put on an environmentally friendly event. Our central focus has been to oversee the organisation, planning and management of festivals and summer events in keeping with global, sustainable and environmental principles.  This includes raising public awareness about environmental issues, promoting
sustainable living and lessons on waste reduction and recycling. In the future we plan more of the same with the additional focus on compost toilets!

Projects

Being commissioned to design and manage interior design projects adds the dimension of time to the WBLE portfolio, although the creative process remains the material and manufacturing requirements differ when dealing with a creation that needs to look good and work for years as opposed to days, as we are used to with exhibitions.

We have recently completed projects designing and building the interior of a new factory and a shop refurbishment. At WBLE we love putting forward ideas, generating creative conversation, but most importantly, getting on with the job and seeing what magic we can create for the client.

At present we are working with various local organisations on innovative projects which are in keeping with our philosophy to keep the environmental impact to a minimum. Current assignments include a wood recycling project, business carbon reduction project and a-grow-your-own vegetable scheme at local schools.

For more information on these projects please contact us, we’d love to hear from you.

Project news:

There are currently three projects actively seeking funding:

• A wood recycling venture
• A schools grow-your-own project
• A unique and innovative project encouraging businesses to work together with the expertise in their communities and form beneficial relationships positively impacting the community at large. The work will be celebrated at the Dorset Business Awards on a yearly basis.

Would you be interested in being involved with any of these exciting projects? Get in touch, we'd love to hear from you!
